All the products sold by DIY Cosmetics are meant for cosmetic purposes. Under no circumstances do we recommend that they be taken as food or for medicinal purposes even if labeled FCC.
The stability & nature of our products may be altered depending on storage conditions, or when used in combination with other ingredients. This is beyond our control and we strongly recommend lab tests prior to commercial runs. Tests should include filling the containers at different temperatures and storage conditions. Test samples may be purchased from either or the retailers listed on our site for testing purposes. DIY Cosmetics cannot accept any liability in this regard. When we accept product from our manufacturer is it understood that we accept it with the possibility of a 3% flaw rate. This is the industry standard That would mean that a case of 300 items could have flaws in up to 9 of those containers. Flaws could include a paint bubble, cracked lid, loose lid, or a scratch. We do not go through each item in a case but do randomly check stock as we get them in from the manufacturer. When you order from us you acknowledge this and accept the goods as such.
