Physical Properties

These polystyrene dishes feature a round footprint for balance platform stability.  The sides are contoured for easy and secure handling.  They are also flexible for dependable sample pouring, and can be heated to 200º Fahrenheit.  Disposable weighing boats can be utilized for liquid or solid balance sample during weighing procedures.  The smooth surface and rounded corners provide for easy removal of powered and granular samples.  Rubberized polystyrene material flexes to allow bending of the weighing boats.  Recesses at the corners facilitate controlled pour-off.

Other uses for polystyrene dishes/boats can as a mixing tray for small batches.

The square boats are deep enough to accommodate liquids.  Biologically inert and resistant to dilute and weak acids, aqueous solutions, alcohols and bases.  Withstand temperatures of up to 200º F.  Disposable boats stack compactly for storage.
