Our 100% Natural Quality ingredient make making your own lipstick and eye pencils and simple as just melting the base and adding your colors. Packed with vitamins and natural anti-oxidant you can expect a long shelf life for your lip and eye products. This base has 2.5% Titanium Dioxide added to it for extra coverage. This will affect your color and the amount of pigments that need to be added. We have made our base just slightly stiffer than most lipstick bases to it's solid enough for pencils. Very easy to use. I modify it with added beneficial ingredients. Customers love my lip balms, lip glosses and lip sticks.

I truly dislike this base, it base consistently separated from the micas and anything else added to it and I wound up with inconsistently coloured lipsticks that were streaky and marbled kinda of a waste when you make 8 at a time, I even wound up with a few lipsticks where the top was coloured and the bottom wasn't because the colour sank to the bottom when it was poured into the mold. I tried everything to get it to hold colour and it wouldn't, the separation became even worse when I added a few drops of Jojoba and flavour to the base, and I had to add the Jojoba because otherwise it just wasn't moisturising enough and made my lips feel chapped after about an hour of wearing, not to mention it completely destroyed the colour of my lip colour grinds. I've never had any of this happen with a lipstick base before. I'm not quite sure what the issue is with this base, perhaps there's too much T. Dioxide in the mix? Regardless I definitely won't be purchasing this again.
DIY Comments: I am not sure what the issue is either. I have used it as many of my customers. I especially can't understand the colors sinking to the bottom. All bases are liquid when melted and then harden when cooled. Heavier ingredients will sink in a liquid. Contact me if you would like a sample of the translucent and you can see if it's a problem with the TD. Thanks for your review!

Would you think I could use this for a face paint pencil?

I love this base for making eyeliner. It's smooth, glides on easy eyeliner base. I added 5 small scoops of oxide & ultramarine to 1 gr of base. The finished product is fantastic.
