This is a matte white pigment composed of mica less than 20 microns which is coated with colloidal titanium dioxide.
It combines the light reflection that is typical of pearl luster pigments with the charactaristic light diffusion properties of colloidal systems. Unlike typical titanium dioxide pigments, it is easily dispersible in all formulations and has a soft skin feel, good skin adhesion and even application properties normally associated with fine particle micas. Additionally it has extremely good hiding power. In combination with matte pigments this blending base renders a natural looking liquid or powder makeup.
Recommended usage rate in liquid foundations is 5-10%.
Eyeshadows it can be used up to 15%.
Unlike typical titanium dioxide this blending base does not exhibit a chalky look on the skin.
