Loading... Please wait...This handsome container could have several uses. Put a cream eyeshadow or lipgloss on the bottom and a hard liner on the top.
The bottom holds about 2 mls and the top about 1/2 ml.
I would not suggest trialing this container for beginners. I found it tricky to fill the first time around and required patience on my part.
Here are some tips for you:
1. Your gloss base needs to be hot and pourable. If it's thick it may take you half the day to fill just one. Make sure you only fill it 2/3 so there is room for the plug and wand.
2. Cool completely before putting the plug and wand into the container.
3. I used 1/'2 thick jojoba gloss and 1/2 cocoa butter for my base and it was fine. Whatever you use it needs to be pourable. I didn't use a syringe as I found it easy enough to just pour in.
4. Your pencil base must be very hard to wind the pencil up and back down. The base must be hard enough to shrink back from the side of the container to roll back down. If you can't get it back down only turn up as much as you need at a time.
If you are using our pencil and liner base I recommend adding about 10% more wax to it before melting.(beeswax or carnauba)
There is no mold required but you need a small pipette. Our 3ml syringes are to large to fit into the tube. I currently don't have pipettes but will be getting some in.
5. Because it's a hard base and these only require a small amount of product you will most likely keep having to reheat your base as it hardens fairly quickly. Have a long needle handy to unclog your pipette. It's much like filling the pencils.
