(B-BF4) Steam distilled herb from France: Inviting, Relaxing, Regulating and Astringent. Clary Sage has a strong nutty scent. This popular European herb has a special affinity to the female cycle. It contains a small amount of a chemical called sclareol, whose main characteristic is to mimic estrogen. It is also widely used in foods and perfumes. It has a warm relaxing aura to it.

APPLICATIONS: In an oil burning blend it may calm, soothe and ease tension. It is useful in skin oils for controlling sebum production, inflammation and wrinkles. In a therapeutic bath, burner or massage oil it has anti-depressant, fluid regulating, hormone regulating and sedative
