T) Steam distilled leaves and twigs from Indonesia. Antiseptic and Penetrating. This oil has been popular since the 17th century. Cajeput oil has an herbaceous sweet scent. Used in many traditional remedies for arthritis and rheumatism and revered for its antiseptic qualities. It is one of the primary ingredients in the popular heating balm known as "Tiger Balm". Its penetrating actions may give temporary relief to muscular aches and pains.

APPLICATIONS: In massage oils it may inhibit the spread of bacteria prevalent in respiratory infections. It may be rubbed into the chest, throat and back. May be used in a gargle for sore throat but should not be swallowed.

NOTES: For external use only. May be poisonous if ingested and as with all essential oils should be kept out of reach of children.
