All prices are quoted in US dollars and do not include any sales tax with the exception of Arizona Residents.
International Orders do not incur any sales tax, however there may be import duties and taxes applicable to the destination and shipment that DIY Cosmetics cannot be responsible for. If you have any questions about these import taxes please contact your customs office.
All prices are quoted ex-warehouse and do not include shipping and transporatation costs. Shipping will be added when you check out of our web store.
Orders cancelled after 24 hours of the time or order placement will incur a 20% restocking fee.
Orders left on a "wait" status or unconfirmed beyond 7 working days will automatically be deleted from our system.
All order are shipped through the US Mail Service or UPS unless otherwise requested. We have found this to be the most cost effective way for our customers, most especially for International orders. We will try to accommodate you if you have other specific requests depending on the size of your order.
Freight Calculation is based on weight, volume and destination.
DIY Cosmetics does not charge handling unless special legal or specification documents are needed.
All orders will be packed and lodged within 7 days of receipt and any discrepancies or claims must be lodged immediately.
International Orders may require legal documents for export purposes. Please check with you local shipping agent or customs agent.
It is important that returns be made via United States Post Parcel Post in which case reimbursement of return freight will be included in the reimbursement. RETURNS Should a product we sell be defective we are happy to have the item returned or exchanged. Items may be returned for this reason only. We must be contacted within 7 working days from reciept of your order. Goods must be packed carefully for return and the package must include a letter identifying your invoice number, contact information as well and the reason the products are being returned.
The stability & nature of our products may be altered depending on storage conditions, or when used in combination with other ingredients. This is beyond our control and we strongly recommend lab tests prior to commercial runs. DIY Cosmetics cannot accept any liability in this regard.
Even though our recipes are suitable for most skin types there may be some sensitivities in some individuals. We recommend patch testing on a small area of all products that you make. The products you make from our recipes are for the makers sole use only and should not be sold without thorough testing and research of the laws and regulations of your country.
