Returns Policy

Because of the nature of our products, we typically cannot accept returns. Valid reasons for a return would be if you recieved the product and it was defective or you have recieved the wrong product. In these cases you may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

If you have any problems or concerns, however, please contact us and we will see what we can do to accommodate you.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping

 For Domestic orders we do our best to ship within 3 days of when the order is placed. If there is a delay you will be notified. Often times we need to make a product up for you or it may be on back order.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

The shipping rates for all items we sell are weight-based. We automatically add a $3.00 charge for Insurance on all International Orders should a mishap occur.

International Customers: If you select First Class Shipping your order can not be tracked and DIY Cosmetics can not take any responsiblity of lost packages.

The Domestic First Class Option is quite reliable and we still offer this service. Generally larger or heavier orders can be packed into Medium and Large Flat Rate Boxes. If there is a difference between the cost of the box and your payment you will then be refunded for the difference. DIY Cosmetics has no interest in making money by over charging for shipping. Please note the pricing of the boxes below.
